Humana Medicare Advantage Plans – If you’re covered by any of Humana’s Medicare Advantage plans and your audiologist, hearing instrument specialist, or physician is in your network of approved providers, then you can claim some or all of the following benefits:

  • No copayment is needed for up to three fittings and assessments for hearing aids per year.
  • No copayment is needed for a yearly, standard hearing assessment (assessment must be authorized beforehand).
  • Copayment needed for your hearing aids – $0 or $199 to $699 per ear for advanced level devices or $0 or $699 to $999 per ear for premium level devices and an additional $50 copay for rechargeable aids.
  • $1,000 hearing aid allowance; however, some brands might not be covered, and the limit is for two hearing aids per year.

Humana Non-Medicare Plans – Humana insurance offers a variety of non-Medicare plans to help with hearing loss. All plans include coverage for audiologist visits, earmold impressions, and hearing aid repairs.

In addition, Humana plans offer financial assistance for those who need additional assistance in purchasing hearing aids. Some programs may even include coverage for hearing health education and counseling.

Humana also offers additional discounts for those who purchase multiple hearing aids at once.

Humana plans provide coverage for both in-network and out-of-network providers to help ensure access to the best care possible. With Humana’s non-Medicare plans, those with a hearing loss will have access to the care they need to help maintain their hearing health.
