Earwax Removal In Utah And Nevada
Have you noticed that your ears are starting to feel blocked from time to time?
If you’re struggling to hear others or find yourself turning the TV volume up frequently, it could be a sign that you have a buildup of wax in your ears.
While audiologists love and celebrate the sticky-like substance that lives inside of your ears, just like anything, when there’s too much of it, it can be a pain.
Forget Q-tips or bobby pins – the best thing you can do is to leave it alone!
In fact, one of the main causes of an earwax compaction is due to improperly cleaning your ears by trying to use Q-tips. In most cases, you are actually pushing the earwax further into the ear canal.
Not only is this extremely dangerous, but it can also present many challenges, including temporary or sudden hearing loss, dizziness, headaches, and even ear pain.
Maybe the best experience I have had at any place that deals with hearing. They take the time to listen and are genuinely concerned about you.
Hearing and Balance Doctors were great. They got me right in. Explained everything to me in detail. I would recommend them to anyone.
How Do I Get Rid Of Earwax?
As earwax regulates itself, the more you mess with your ears, the more earwax your ears will produce.
While there are at-home methods you can use to get rid of earwax, the best thing you can do is to leave your ears in the hands of Utah and Nevada’s most trusted hearing and balance doctors.
No matter the problem, big or small, we will be on hand to help.
How Does Earwax Removal Work?
The first thing we will do is take a look into your ears using an otoscope. Here, we will be able to see if there is actually a buildup of wax or if it is perhaps a more serious issue.
If it does happen to be a wax buildup, we can either use a scoop-like instrument called a corvette to gently scoop the earwax out or use a syringe that we fill with water and insert inside of your ears.
This helps to flush out the wax and keeps your ears healthy. It’s also a relief to get all of that gunk out of your ears!
