Curbside Appointments

Since the COVID-19 outbreak, how we live our lives and everyday social situations have changed in an attempt to reduce the spread of the virus. Among the many solutions designed in response to the pandemic is the development of curbside appointments at our hearing care centers.

Curbside appointments allow you and your loved ones to take advantage of a range of treatments and essential hearing care resources from the safety and security of your private vehicle.

They have become a valuable form of service to many local families, allowing our audiologists to continue to provide top-level hearing care without many of the risks often associated with a traditional, in-office appointment.

Because of their success, curbside appointments have enhanced and will continue to enhance the level of care we are able to provide to you and your loved ones.

What Is a Curbside Appointment?

You won’t get burgers and fries at our drive-through, but a curbside appointment provides a similar experience. While you are warm, comfortable, safe, and secure in your vehicle, your audiologist is able to provide services such as:

  • Hearing aid cleaning and maintenance
  • Smartphone pairing with your hearing instrument
  • Hearing aid fittings
  • Hearing aid adjustments
  • Hearing tests

You, your spouse, kids, dogs, in-laws, and whoever else you might have brought along can remain comfortable in your vehicle while a member of our team meets your needs and gets you on your way as quickly as possible.

How Does It Work?

It is best to book a Curbside Appointment in advance in order to be served at a time most convenient to you. However, you can also drive up and simply wait to be served or drop off your hearing devices to be tended to and then return later to pick them up.

Curbside Appointments are available at all of our locations. Once you or your loved ones arrive at one of our offices, give us a call and let us know you are there. Tell us what you need and the vehicle you are driving, and we will send out a member of the team to assist you as quickly as possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How Does a Hearing Test in My Car Work?

Noise-canceling headphones have made it possible to provide hearing tests to patients without the need for the sound-proof booth inside the office. Using this technology and a sanitized tablet computer, your audiologist can conduct a basic hearing test while you sit comfortably in your vehicle. After completing the assessment, your audiologist can provide you with information about the status of your hearing and discuss the solutions available to you.

Q: What’s the Average Wait Time?

The average wait time for those who attend pre-booked Curbside Appointments is less than two minutes after you let us know you have arrived. Those without a pre-booked appointment can expect to wait a bit longer, but our team will do its best to serve you as soon as possible.

Q: Can Others Be in The Car with Me?

You can bring cousins, aunts, uncles, dogs, children, in-laws, spouses, and/or anyone you like to your Curbside Appointment. Keep in mind that no one can leave the vehicle at any time during the appointment, and you will probably want a generally quiet atmosphere in order to communicate clearly with the team member serving you.

Schedule Your Curbside Appointment

Maintaining your health and safety during this challenging time is one of our major priorities. We have designed curbside appointments to limit your contact with others who might spread COVID-19 to you and your family.

If you or a loved one needs attention from a member of our team but would prefer to receive curbside service, schedule a Curbside Appointment in advance for faster service or just drive up to the location nearest you and give us a call.
