Being current on new hearing aid technology is something the doctors at Hearing & Balance Doctors of Utah take seriously.

With new technology from six major manufacturers constantly being introduced, this process takes time.

Our doctors have a series of tests they put new technology through to verify actual performance. We also rely on feedback from our patients. This process happens routinely in our clinic.

A New Study

This month, our clinic is running an in-house study comparing two of the most advanced hearing aid systems available.

Each is from a different hearing aid manufacturer.  One has been on the market for almost a year, and one is relatively new.

Both hearing aid technologies seem to be smarter and more effective in dynamic listening environments.  They also boast the highest ability to reduce background noise.

Hearing & Balance Doctors Needs You

We are looking for qualified candidates to test one or both of these hearing aids for one week and then fill out a questionnaire.  We rely on our study participants’ honest, real-world assessments.

These assessments help us determine if the new hearing aid technology performs as promised.  They also help us validate the value and benefit of technology enhancements.

Who is Eligible?

Our in-house study will include both participants that have never worn hearing aids and those who have.  Participation is free of charge, and you are under no financial obligation.

If you are interested in purchasing either of the hearing aids you test, you will be offered a discount.

A comprehensive hearing exam and word recognition score greater than 80% are required. Most insurances cover the exam.

The clinic study began in November and runs until December 31, 2016.

Call (435) 688-8991 for more details or to participate in the study.  As a thank you for your participation, you will receive a $10 gift card toward a HOLIDAY HAM.
